What is the Green Belt Lean Six Sigma training?+
The Green Belt is the intermediate level of Lean Six Sigma certification. It trains project leaders capable of independently managing continuous improvement projects using the DMAIC method (Define, Measure, Analyse, Improve, Control). At TargetUp University, the training combines statistical tools, process mapping, and change management, with preparation for the internationally recognised IASSC certification.

It is aimed at quality managers, project leaders, process engineers, operational managers, and executives who want to reduce waste, variability, and costs of non-quality. No statistical background is required: the course starts from the fundamentals and is based on concrete cases adapted to the industrial and tertiary contexts of Morocco and Francophone Africa.

The programme covers the entire DMAIC cycle: project scoping (SIPOC, VOC, and CTQ), measurement collection and reliability (MSA, capability), root cause analysis (Pareto, flow mapping, hypothesis testing), improvement (error-proofing, process optimisation), and sustainable control (SPC charts, monitoring plan). Each tool is directly applicable to your own processes.

The training alternates between methodological inputs, practical workshops, and application on a real business project. How long does the Green Belt training last?+
The Green Belt course consists of several days of training organised into modules, complemented by practical application on a field project. This pace allows for the assimilation of the method while progressively applying it in the company, without permanently immobilising the teams. What is the difference between Green Belt and Black Belt?+
The Green Belt leads targeted improvement projects, often part-time and alongside their functions. The Black Belt handles more complex, high-stakes projects, supervises several Green Belts, and masters advanced statistical tools. The Green Belt is the recommended foundation before progressing to the Black Belt level.
