Agricultural Development Fund (FDA) — up to 100% grant

What the FDA funds

EAU

Localized irrigation

Drip/pivot irrigation — 80% (up to 100% for small farms & collectives), ceiling 15,000 DH/ha.

ENERGY

Solar pumping

30% — cumulative with localized irrigation for water and energy-efficient farming.

ARBORICULTURE

Planting

60% — noble species (olive, citrus, almond): certified plants + integrated irrigation system.

EQUIPMENT

Agricultural equipment

30 to 70% — tractors, tillage, harvesting, livestock equipment, depending on the type.

VALORISATION

Value-added units

Storage, cold, packaging and processing of agricultural products — subsidised.

LIVESTOCK

Livestock

Genetic improvement, stables, watering and livestock equipment.

AGGREGATION

Aggregation

Flat-rate grant: 400 to 5,000 DH/ha (crops) · 100 to 900 DH/head (livestock).

RISQUE

Agricultural Assurance

Subsidised multi-risk climate insurance — secure your crops and income.

Small farms (less than 5 ha) benefit from 70% of the envelopes dedicated to aggregation. Indicative rates — confirmed according to the current FDA manual.

What is the Agricultural Development Fund (FDA)?

The FDA is the Moroccan state mechanism (established in 1986, Ministry of Agriculture) that subsidises private agricultural investment: irrigation, planting, equipment, livestock, valorisation, aggregation and insurance. In 2023, 4.4 billion DH was mobilised.

What subsidy rates for drip irrigation?

Localized irrigation is subsidised at 80% (up to 100% for small farms and collective projects), limited to 15,000 DH/ha. Solar pumping is supported at 30%, cumulative.

How to submit an FDA application?

Is the FDA cumulative with other schemes?
